Job PurposeTo provide medical services to Vikram Cement employees and their families and others as per the company policy. Emergency and critical care services around the clock. To conduct pre-employment examination and annual medical check ups. First aid training and services.Job Context & Major ChallengesVikram Cement Works: a unit of UltraTech Cement Limited, a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group is situated at Khor, District Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh). Vikram Cement has 3 Lines. Line-1 was commissioned in 1985 with an installed capacity of 1500TPD, which has been enhanced to 2800TPD. Line-2 was commissioned in 1986 with an installed capacity of 1500TPD, which has been enhanced to 2800TPD. Line-3 was commissioned in 1991 with an installed capacity of 3000TPD which has been enhanced to 4150 TPD. Vikram Cement Works has its own captive power generation through Thermal Power Plant having capacity of 2x 23 MW suitable for multiple fuels. Vikram Cement Works has been pioneer in implementation of world class systems like WCM, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SA 8000, ISO 27001, and ISO 50001. Vikram Cement Works is the first Cement plant in India who received TPM award in Year 1995.Major ChallengesIlliteracy and lack of awareness in the villages poses challenge to maintain rural health. To mobilize and train the staff to develop departmental plans of action for health promotion in their workplace. Oversee implementation of plan of action in a time bound frame.
