This remote position involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and documenting processes for technical teams. The analyst will examine existing workflows and data flows to identify areas for optimization, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include querying SQL databases, investigating system performance, and conducting cross-system analyses using tools such as AWS CloudWatch and S3. The role also encompasses creating process diagrams, evaluating system enhancements, supporting testing phases, and facilitating effective communication between business units, IT teams, and vendors. The Business Data Analyst will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, monitor system performance, and support change management and training efforts to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
