As an authorised representative of Marsh Advantage Insurance Pty Ltd, we provide a powerful value proposition as one of Australia’s largest facilitators of insurance in rural communities.About the Opportunity:The Business Development Manager - Partnerships & Growth is responsible for driving the growth of the Insurance operation within Nutrien Ag Solutions through strategic thinking, relationship building, and market analysis. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, developing long-term strategies, and fostering collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.The preferred location for this role is at our Macquarie Park, Sydney offices.Key Responsibilities include: Research and identify new business opportunities including potential clients, partnerships and market segmentsDevelop and recommend long-term strategies aligned with organizational goalsMaintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, including competitors, trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growthManage the planning, execution and monitoring of strategic projectsLead negotiations to establish beneficial arrangements for the businessBuild and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAs a senior member of the Insurance team you will act as a mentor for more junior staff, facilitating professional development and promoting collaboration.About You:Demonstrated success in a Business Development Manager role (or similar position) within an Insurance businessPossess a deep understanding of insurance products and their featuresA proven track record in sales within the insurance sector, with measurable resultsExperience in developing and executing business development strategies to drive growthStrong commercial acumen and analytical skillsExceptional communications and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, both inside and outside the organisation.A relevant qualifications e.g. Diploma of General Insurance is preferred.Why work for us?
