With no out-of-pocket costs and one friendly point of contact, we take care of the admin so our participants can focus on living their best lives, and that’s what makes our work so rewarding.About the RoleAs our new Business Development & Community Engagement Manager, you’ll play a big role in driving our next chapter of growth. You’ll work closely with our General Manager and Directors to build strong community and provider partnerships, grow referral networks, and boost awareness of who we are and what we do best - helping participants (and their families and carers) feel supported, empowered, and in control of their NDIS funding.This is a hands-on role in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, perfect for someone who thrives on variety, connection, and helping build something great from the ground up.What you'll doWork closely with the General Manager to drive business growth and implement strategic initiativesBuild strong connections with key NDIS organisations, providers, and community partnersRepresent Plan Hero at expos, workshops, and community events to promote awareness and partnershipsIdentify and develop new business opportunities through marketing initiatives and relationship managementCollaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns that drive engagement and lead generationDevelop and execute a community engagement strategy aligned with our growth goalsResearch emerging market trends, participant needs, and partnership opportunities to inform future strategyKeep up to date with NDIS changes, pricing arrangements, and sector developmentsAbout YouYou’ll thrive in this role if you’re proactive, people-focused, and ready to be part of a company that’s growing quickly and making a real difference. You know how to build relationships, spot opportunities, and follow through with integrity and care.You’ll bring:2+ years of experience in NDIS Plan Management (essential)A strong understanding of the NDIS landscape, funding categories, and participant needsProven business development or partnership experience with a record of achieving growth targetsExceptional communication, networking, and relationship-building skillsA self-motivated approach and strong organisational skillsEmpathy, initiative, and a genuine passion for helping others navigate the NDISPeople with disability and/or lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply.The DetailsHours: Flexible – part-time (minimum 3–4 days) with the option to move to full-timeLocation: Hybrid role (work from home + in-office at Edgecliff, Sydney, Wednesdays & Fridays)Remote applicants from other states will also be considered (5 days WFH)Salary: Negotiable, based on experienceIf you’re ready to join a values-driven team that’s growing fast, doing good, and having fun along the way, we’d love to hear from you
