About The JobThe Business Development Assistant Manager supports the strategic growth of the Brunei Branch by leading agency recruitment, enhancing distribution performance and driving the Bancassurance business. This role contributes to expanding market share, deepening partnerships and improve customer engagement across both the agency and bancassurance distribution channels.Key Responsibilities Lead and drive agency recruitment strategies to expand and strengthen the agency force in alignment with business goals. Support and grow Bancassurance business through close collaboration with bank partner(s). Plan campaign and incentive programs for agency and bancassurance to drive sales and performance. Support onboarding and early-stage development of new financial representatives. Collaborate with internal teams to implement training, coaching and engagement program for the agency force. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify trends, gaps and areas of improvement across both channels. Assist in development and rollout of new product launches and marketing strategies. Coordinate with regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and compliance standards. Support digital adoption and transformation initiatives across the distribution team. Provide administrative and operational support for agency and bancassurance activities, events and reporting. Possess a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a relevant field. Have 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, agency recruitment, preferable in the insurance or financial services industry. Are analytical, details-oriented and result driven Have strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills Are tech-savvy and adaptable to digital tools and platforms.
