With a strong foundation of innovation, collaboration, and financial stability, Thaire Life strives to strengthen the Thai insurance industry through new product development, strategic partnerships, and sustainable business growth.Position OverviewThe Business Development Manager – AVP Level Life Insurance will be responsible for driving new business growth through strategic planning, partnership development, and innovative product initiatives. This role requires a combination of commercial insight, analytical ability, and leadership skills to develop strategies that enhance Thaire Life’s market presence and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business opportunities through product development, partnership initiatives, and market expansion.Develop and implement strategic sales and business plans, including customer targeting and distribution channel optimization.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners to ensure long-term collaboration and trust.Manage sales budgets and performance targets, ensuring revenue and profitability goals are met.Conduct market and competitor analysis to support pricing strategies and identify new business opportunities.Recommend innovative products, solutions, and services that align with emerging market trends and customer needs.Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (Actuarial, Marketing, Underwriting, Compliance, Operations) to ensure successful execution of new business initiatives and product launches.Prepare and present business proposals, financial projections, and progress reports to senior management.Support company-wide strategic projects and represent the Business Development function in internal and external forums.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Insurance, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in Strategy, Business Development, Product, or Partnership Management within the Life Insurance or Reinsurance industry.Demonstrated experience in product innovation, strategic planning, and project management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.Proven leadership and team coordination capabilities.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
