Business Development Officer

A leading General Insurance firm is seeking to hire a Business Development Officer to drive growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and executing strategies to expand the company’s presence and revenue in the insurance sector.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, agents, corporate clients, and strategic partners.Identify and establish strategic partnerships with complementary businesses, distribution channels, and technology providers.Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue growth targetsMonitor and analyze business performance metrics, including revenue growth, market share, and customer acquisition costs.Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue growth targets.Work closely with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.Lead negotiations for major accounts and strategic partnershipsCollaborate with underwriting teams to structure competitive proposals and solutionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field..3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in insurance or financial services.Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and market dynamics.Experience with digital insurance platforms and InsurTech solutions.
