About softSchecksoftScheck is a fast-growing Singapore-headquartered cybersecurity consultancy and MSSP, recognised as a Tier-1 provider under GovTech Bulk Tender for Cybersecurity Testing & Cyber Consulting. We serve government agencies, BFSI, telco, healthcare, utilities, and large enterprises across Asia.We are expanding our enterprise sales team and looking for a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate our market penetration in Singapore and ASEAN countries.Role SummaryThe BDR is responsible for pipeline generation, new account hunting, and opening opportunities for our cybersecurity services. This role focuses on prospecting, outbound activities, SI ecosystem engagement, and qualifying leads before passing them to Account Directors / Managers.This is not a passive role — you will be the spearhead for new revenue growth.Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & ProspectingIdentify, research, and engage new enterprise prospects in assigned verticals (BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Gov-linked entities, etc.).Manage outbound activities: cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email sequences, event follow-ups.Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in CRM (Zoho).2. Qualification of OpportunitiesConduct discovery calls to understand customer needs, project timelines, and cyber maturity.Qualify opportunities using BANT / MEDDIC methodology.Prepare initial pitch decks or case studies with internal marketing support.3. SI & Partner EngagementBuild relationships with System Integrators (SI), MSPs, and technology partners.Identify co-selling opportunities (penetration testing, ISO27001, CCoP 2.0, GRC services, SOC/MDR, etc.).Support joint proposals and partner events.4. Sales Support & CollaborationWork closely with Account Directors to hand over qualified opportunities.Collaborate with marketing on events, webinars, and demand-generation campaigns.Track KPIs, forecasting accuracy, and conversion metrics.5.
