The division includes Marketing, Vendor Alliances, Cloud Alliances, Multinational Services, Digital Strategy, Data Strategy, Sustainability, and Customer Experience.Previous interns have joined areas such as Customer Experience, Data Visualisation, Data Management, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.ResponsibilitiesAs a Commercial Intern, you will:Join a specialist team within the commercial functionContribute to day-to-day work and assigned responsibilitiesWork collaboratively with teams across the organisationSupport internal and customer-focused activitiesBuild professional skills including communication, prioritisation, organisation, and data handlingWork with other interns on cross-functional projectsLearn how your team contributes to Softcat’s wider commercial strategyRequirementsSoftcat is looking for candidates who:Are current undergraduate students studying in the UK or Ireland, completing a penultimate-year placementAre studying any degree disciplineAre interested in the technology industry and commercial business areasCan build and maintain professional relationshipsAre able to work both independently and as part of a teamDemonstrate alignment with Softcat’s values and inclusive cultureWorking arrangementsSoftcat offers:Hybrid working (typically three days in the office and two from home)Flexible start and finish timesA supportive working environment focused on development and collaborationRecruitment processThe application process includes:Application > One-way video interview > Virtual assessment centre > Final stage panel interview.Candidates are initially evaluated for suitability within the Commercial area.
