Capacity Planning Specialist

Description of Position Are you interested in shaping the future of localized movies and television? As Capacity Planning Specialist, you will be instrumental in providing data driven insight to support strategic decisions, promote efficiency and help teams to prepare for demands. This includes data collection, interpreting data and analyzing results, forecasting and capacity planning, and developing streamlined processes to promote data quality. As an ideal candidate, you will bring experience to help raise the bar and are an expert in the fields of strategic planning and risk assessment. You will work cross functionally with global teams.Primary ResponsibilitiesAnalyze data from production teams to determine at-a-glance bandwidth for different internal teams. Compare this data against the volume of incoming requests to plan monthly volumes, efficiently load balance, and forecast potential capacity crunches. Present findings to higher-level stakeholders and recommend new metrics to better forecast capacity. Analyze requested project timelines and determine if they allow for successful delivery based on existing workflows. Present final project proposal to stakeholdersTracking overall dubbing market trends and dub vendor capacity to support planning and utilization reportingAnalyze and identify specific risks (inherent & residual) and associated risk ratings within team’s metrics collection processes to target areas of improvementCollect, consolidate, and analyze operational data, including preparing internal reporting deliverables, analyzing trends & drivers, and explaining forecast vs. actual variancesPrepare and deliver periodic executive level dashboard for metrics, insights and trends to help inform and guide critical business decisionsDevelop and implement comprehensive and consistent strategies, tools, and processes related to capacity planning and performance metricsSupport meetings and all proposals by supplying relevant data and highlight concerns relating to actual or potential issuesMaintaining databases and developing automated processes for source data collection to support data qualityKey CompetenciesClear data analytic skills and comfort with using data tools for automation, planning, or metricsExperience with project management tools, data collection and analysis to drive improvementsAn attraction to applying deep critical thinking to find solutions for complex problemsExceptional written and oral communication skills across all levels The ability to identify risks and effectively manage activities to minimize impactThe ability to thrive within a in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Masterful organizational skills and attention to detailDisplay a willingness to learn or implement new enhancement tools or workflowsExperience and QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or applicable equivalent experienceA total of 2-4 years of experience in Work Force ManagementProfessional Certificate in Data Analytics/WFM (not mandatory but preferred)Proficiency with Advanced Excel and Data Visualization expertiseCandidates with PowerBI and Tableau experience will be preferred.
