Job Description

The Regional Manager, will be responsible for leading a retail and Area Manager’s team, who can ensure the store is focused on achieving sales goals, customer service and the shopping experience, and developing internal talent and to create, recommend, and implement ideas to help store reach all goals and objectives. This role works closely with distributors and Marketing team and to ensure enhancement of brand image.Key Result Areas for the IncumbentProcess ResponsibilitiesEnsuring effective Inventory management for the concept in the territory ( order management, stock consolidation, movement and transfer, optimum stock utilization, stock return and shrinkage)Ensuring payments being collected from the retail stores and distributers in a timely mannerReview and analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems related to stock and sales and concepts to make effective business decisionsReview and effectively deal with fast / slow lines, new ranges and end of ranges and implement necessary actionEnsure pricing of merchandise as per prescribed matrixEnsuring monthly feedback Concept on sales, stock positions and product feedback to be sharedStrategize and seek opportunity for concept expansion in the territoryEnsuring completion of new projects in a timely mannerIdentify locations for stores as per reuired process and quality and Understand Territory dynamics (demographics, consumer behaviour, market understanding etc)Ensuring VM Implementation, SOP adherence, Stock Transfer, Petty cash approvals, Repairs & maintanancesPeople Management ResponsibilitiesMaintain regular connect with staff (Housing & Transport) and ensure welfare activities are plannedHandholding the new recruits to understand their job and inducted well within the companyTrain and monitore Area manager to ensure grievances are resolved in a timely mannerManage the area Managers – their performance, Training, development interventions and growthManage and provide direction to the team.
