Job Description

The Case Consultant is a critical role; you will be the first impression of the firm to potential clients and play a vital role in providing our clients with excellent service. The position involves responding to new client inquiries, assessing injury cases, responding to clients with empathy and compassion. A successful Case Consultant is comfortable asking challenging questions while displaying high levels of patience, common sense, and customer service while converting leads into clients.Essential Functions:Answer phone calls and emails in a polite and professional mannerAccepts a broad range of customer service calls and assesses the information to make informed decisions for conversionListen in order to provide detailed information about the services offered, addressing preliminary questions. Transfer calls as neededEnters information into the case management softwarePursue signed retainers from qualified leadsSchedules office appointments for clients and notifies departments or locationsMakes recommendations for other case types that may benefit the current or potential clientMust be open to any schedule, holiday rotation, and coverage for team membersOther duties as assignedRequirementsQualifications: High School diploma or equivalent requiredPrior customer service and/or call center sales experience is preferred, 1-2 yearsAbility to type 40-50 words per minuteReliable and dependable in performing job-related tasks, finishing assigned projects, meeting deadlines, and appointmentsMust have strong time management skillsStrong organizational and attention to detail skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other relevant softwareAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamPhysical Demands and Work Environment: Occasionally/Frequently/Continually required to stand, walk, and sitOccasionally/Frequently/Continually required to lift/push/carry items less than 10 pounds/ up to 25 pounds.
