Ultimately the CSP team is responsible for creating the Customer Category Growth Strategy which informs brand and Customer Development teams, drives the commercial strategy of the business unit, supports customers through objective insights and drives category growth.Job PurposeUnilever is the place where you can bring your purpose to life with the work that you do – creating a better business and a better world. If you are then this role is just for you!What Will Your Main Responsibilities BeInvolvement in co-creating Foods Growth Strategy In the drivers’ seat of creation of Growth Strategy of Condiments (cold & hot sauces), soups & Maïzena. Determine short-and long-term strategy on your brands with Marketing & convert into local plans with Customer Development & Field. It focusses on Category Growth management, Shopper marketing, Net Revenue management, Promotions & Operation. Responsibility for creation & optimalisation of internal and external business updates, providing CD and marketing teams with valuable insights and actionable next steps. Responsibility for reviewing promotional strategies that deliver insights for Integrated Business Planning. Supporting marketing teams with rankings and business cases assumptions. Supporting marketing and CD teams with ad-hoc analyses using external data like Nielsen or customer databases. Keeping a close eye on our competitors and track them on key K Key Performance Indicators.Supporting operational processes to ensure perfect execution of innovations. Freedom to co-create the role and lead projects matching individual passions or ambitions (e.g. Channel Strategy, Net Revenue Management, Digital Commerce, Out of Home). Key job focus is to implement short term strategy and develop the long(er) term Foods strategy. You will work at the City Dox office and will collaborate with our most important retail customers in developing category strategies based on customer, consumer and shopper insights. A couple of times per year (+/- 1x every 2 months), you’ll be visiting our NL colleagues in Rotterdam for a one-day event, since Unilever is organized as a BeNeLux structure. What You Need To SucceedExperiences & Qualifications Master Degree in Economics, Business Studies or Science, and a high level of numeracy and analytical skills / working with large datasets. The ideal candidate has experience in Customer Development or Customer Strategy & Planning/Category Management. SkillsExcellent engagement, presentation, and communication skills, an ability to manage a large and complex set of stakeholders and an entrepreneurial drive and winning mentality. Transforming data into compelling insights that communicate a strong story will be essential for this role. Knowledge of Nielsen / YouGov / retailer data are a plus. Moreover, our ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment with many stakeholders and loves to work together with different functions. Proactivity, flexibility and eagerness to learn & improve is crucial to continuously evolve our CSP team to a higher level. And above all, the perfect candidate is highly service oriented to both our external customers and internal teams.
