A rapidly scaling asset management firm is hiring a dynamic and entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to architect its financial future. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing buy-side firm at a pivotal stage and shape its financial strategy, infrastructure, and governance. In return, you will enjoy a remuneration of up to $360,000 per annum.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with founders to drive financial strategy, capital planning, and fund launch initiatives.Build the finance function end-to-end, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management.Lead fund accounting, valuations, NAV oversight, and investor reporting.Strengthen internal controls, governance, and regulatory compliance across the firm and its funds.Manage relationships with fund administrators, auditors, banks, and external partners.Hire, develop, and lead a lean, high-performing finance and operations team.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.8–12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior finance or CFO role within asset management, hedge funds, private equity, or fintech.Proven ability to build finance functions in a startup or high-growth environment.Strong fund accounting, modelling, and investor reporting expertise.Confident communicator with stakeholder and investor-facing credibility.Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as this role will require external engagements with North Asian counterparties.This is an exceptional chance to build, lead, and scale the finance backbone of a growing asset manager.
