Tomorrow will bleed better.Who We’re Looking ForThe Finance Director leads end-to-end finance operations, governance, group consolidation, forecasting, cashflow, and commercial finance across all markets. The role ensures financial accuracy, governance, and proactive insight to support strategic decisions.This person will lead the regional finance organization (SG/MY/ID ++) and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Founders Office as a core member of the leadership team, providing financial direction to support high but sustainable growth, and enable informed executive decision-making in a fast-growing consumer startup environment.Core Responsibilities(25%) Financial & Management AccountingLead and oversee the full finance function including financial accounting, reporting, AP, AR, treasury, and internal controls.Oversee the accounts and financial close process for all subsidiary companies within the Group and consolidation, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.(20%) Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analysis (FP&A)Lead annual budgeting, quarterly and monthly forecasts & reviews across all marketsDeliver clear variance analyses, margin breakdowns, and actionable commercial insights, partnering with leadership in holding functions accountable to performance vs. budgetBuild and strengthen dashboards & rolling forecasts for sales, margins, trade spend, channel mix, and SKU profitability.(15%) Cashflow, Treasury & Working CapitalOversee cashflow forecasting and liquidity management.Manage banking relationships, trade financing, FX exposure, and treasury structures, whilst driving regular increases to banking lines as the group scales upOptimise working capital across AR, AP, inventory, and supplier terms.(15%) Tax, Audit, and Statutory ComplianceOversee timely completion and submission of tax, GST, financial statements, and all regulatory/statutory filings across markets.Lead audit prep and process, and serve as primary senior leader contact for external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies, ensuring smooth and compliant reporting.(15%) Strategic Finance & Business PartneringPartner closely with the Founders Office on commercial strategy and long-term strategic planning.Support capital allocation discussions, investment trade-offs, growth and cashflow modelling, providing forward-looking financial insights to support decision-making (e.g. market expansion, pricing, promotions, P&L impact).(10%) Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the finance team across the region, ensuring strong capability developmentDrive operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement both within the finance department as well as cross-functionally, as the business scales upSkills & Qualifications10 to 15+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally in FMCG/consumer goods/retail/supply-chain-driven businessesProven experience leading and developing a finance teamStrong grounding in accounting, audit, internal controls, and financial governance (experience in consolidation & multi-entity operations preferred)Advanced Excel ability. Additionally, experience with Microsoft NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems is an advantage.Preferably ACCA/CPA/CA trainedStrong FP&A, business partnering, and deep commercial understanding (e.g. pricing, promotions, trade spend, supply chain costing, margin analysis)A highly organized, independent problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a bias for action, and an open-minded spirit
