NU Advisory Partners has been retained to identify a strategic and operational finance executive to serve as Chief Financial Officer for a fast-scaling enterprise technology company. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will lead all aspects of financial strategy, reporting, capital management, and business operations—playing a central role in guiding long-term growth, profitability, and financial transparency. With 2,000+ searches and deep industry expertise, we deliver high-touch service and leadership talent that drives long-term value.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & LeadershipServe as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team, offering disciplined, data-driven insights on key financial decisions.Develop long-term financial strategy that supports growth, capital efficiency, and business sustainability.Drive capital allocation planning and cost discipline across functions including product, go-to-market, and operations.Lead financial communications with internal and external stakeholders, including Board members and investors.FP&A & Performance OptimizationOversee company-wide forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.Establish scalable planning frameworks for recurring revenue, unit economics, and pricing strategies.Implement tooling and reporting systems to improve visibility into performance and enable smarter decision-making.Guide planning processes across GTM teams, product, and finance to align resources with business outcomes.Operational Finance & ReportingEnsure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in financial reporting under GAAP.Oversee accounting, treasury, payroll, AR/AP, and tax functions in partnership with internal teams and external advisors.Lead internal controls, risk management, and audit processes with an eye toward continuous improvement.Evolve financial infrastructure to support future readiness and scale.Capital & Investor ManagementManage the company’s capital structure, liquidity strategy, and financing activities.Maintain strong relationships with investors, leading data-rich and transparent communications.Support long-term corporate development planning, including potential exit scenarios.Risk, Compliance & Operational EfficiencyDesign financial and operational risk frameworks that align with industry best practices.Monitor and optimize cost structure and margins to maintain financial rigor during growth.Lead enterprise-wide spend prioritization and accountability efforts.Team Development & Organizational DesignBuild and mentor a high-performing finance organization.Guide and develop senior finance leaders across FP&A, tax, strategic finance, and accounting.Foster a culture of excellence, transparency, and execution across the function.Partner cross-functionally to ensure finance is integrated into product, commercial, and operational decision-making.Qualifications & ExperienceDeep experience with enterprise SaaS or other recurring revenue businesses.
