This is your opportunity to be part of an expert team who build and refine seamless technology experiences.In this role (for up to 18 months), you will:Lead the establishment, prioritisation and delivery of the organisation's investment in information systems, platforms and services aligned to the needs of the business, TfNSW Technology plans and overall organisational corporate governance requirements. Develop and maintain organisationally aligned ICT strategies to enable the business to achieve strategic and operational goals, andLead the delivery of the organisational ICT capability, maximising returns from ICT investments and improving operational effectiveness in the delivery of business services, value and outcomes.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description.About YouYou are a tertiary qualified, technology leadership professional looking for an opportunity to apply your experiences to build and deliver a world class IT division:You are a strategic thinker, and outcomes focused.You bring experience as a technology strategic adviser to a Board and Chief Executive.You are experienced with end-to-end IT delivery across a portfolio of programs from strategic business case development through to implementation, delivery and technology on-boarding.You have strong experience building a team and growing team maturity and capability.You understand the complexities of the government funding and financial models.You have demonstrated experience in change management and engagement.You have a strong track record leading continuous improvement activities.You are experienced working in an unstructured environment and developing structure for a government IT organisation, closely resembling a start-up mindset.You bring experience in the establishment and building of development teams.You are experienced in improving the consistency and governance around architecture and systems.Who We AreSydney Metro is leading Australia’s biggest public transport infrastructure program, developing and delivering a new world-class metro railway system for Sydney.As a NSW Government statutory authority, Sydney Metro has been tasked with developing and delivering metro railways, and managing their operations.
