Working in a fast-paced agile environment, you will collaborate closely within vibrant, cross-functional squads, each laser-focused on specific business missions.Sound good? Read on.Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:Developing and running data validation processes Identifying and correcting inconsistencies, errors and missing data in datasetsAnalysing data to identify patterns and trends in order to derive actionable insightsCreating and maintaining dashboards that not only serve functional purposes but are visually captivating.Owning your projects and ensuring the data architecture supports rapid growth and innovation.Utilising extensive databases to unravel complex queries that are as challenging as they are rewarding.Deriving insights from large amounts of data and translating this into a story that helps stakeholders and senior leaders understand, make decisions and drive action.Spreading data literacy and fostering a culture of curiosity and informed decision-making throughout the organisation.Regardless of the squad you work in, you will have the support of your Chapter around you; team members who share the same capabilities, that you can learn and grow from. Collaborating with diverse teams to develop and refine data-driven tools and applications that influence business strategies.What do we need from youNow Let’s Talk About YouYou are a Collaborative team player. Sitting in the Digital Insights Chapter, you’ll be working in a multi-functional squad to support our Ultra Convenience initiatives. Building connections and expanding on your knowledge and that of others will be key to solving difficult problems this squad faces.Self-motivated, you thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable navigating through ambiguity imposed by the matrix structure we work in and the shared decision making that goes with it.Have great attention to detail and interested in ensuring our data and outputs are of the highest qualityYou’re adventurous with data, constantly seeking new methods or tools to enhance understanding and outcomes.You have SQL skills and you have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP a plus) as well as building data models with DBT.Your analytical prowess is matched with an ability to visualise data compellingly (Tableau skills are a bonus).Communication is your strong suit; you translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.You may have prior experience in a Retail or Hospitality role that helps you understand the landscape you are designing your data products for.The benefits are good too!
