Department: Executive Office Reports To: Managing Partner Type: Full-TimePosition Summary:The Chief of Staff serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the leadership team, ensuring effective execution of organizational priorities and alignment across departments. This role acts as a force multiplier for the executive office - driving focus, accountability, and follow through on high impact initiatives. The Chief of Staff bridges strategy and operations, enabling leadership to make informed decisions and ensuring that business goals are translated into clear action and measurable results.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning and AlignmentSupport the MD in developing, communicating, and tracking execution of the company’s strategic priorities.Facilitate cross functional collaboration to ensure alignment and accountability across teams.Lead or coordinate key strategic initiatives and projects from conception to completion.Conduct research, analysis, and presentations to support executive decision-making.Operational EffectivenessDrive operational cadence - including leadership meetings, monthly/quarterly business reviews, and strategic events - ensuring productive discussions and clear action plans.Oversee the preparation of reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for leadership.Identify and resolve bottlenecks in workflows and communication across departments.Manage special projects that fall outside existing departmental structures.Leadership Support and CommunicationAct as a sounding board, thought partner, and liaison between the executive and department heads.Ensure information flows efficiently within the leadership team and across the organization.Draft and review executive communications, board materials, and organizational updates.Represent the executive in internal or external meetings where necessary.People and CulturePartner with HR and department heads to strengthen leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational health.Support in succession planning, talent management, and leadership development efforts.Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.3 - 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic, operations, or leadership support capacity.Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and stakeholders simultaneously.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.High emotional intelligence, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.Key Competencies:Strategic Thinking & Business AcumenExecutive CommunicationProject & Program ManagementData Analysis and Insight GenerationStakeholder ManagementOrganizational AwarenessProblem Solving & Decision MakingConfidentiality & IntegrityPerformance Indicators:Timely and effective execution of strategic initiativesImproved communication and coordination across leadershipEnhanced decision-making through actionable data and insightsEfficiency of executive operations and meeting cadenceOrganizational alignment with strategic goals
