CTO / Chief Technology Officer consumer focused / Social CommerceOur superb client, a fast growing consumer tech business is looking for a product led, Chief Technology Officer / CTO to lead its engineering function into a new phase of growth. Proven start up moving to global Scale UpThe company is in the social commerce / consumer marketplace space and are now looking for a technical leader who can take them to the next level product wise, scale the team and be comfortable dealing with board level and investorsMust have experience:Setting Technical strategy, roadmapping, and architectural decisionsEngineering delivery, processes, and team performanceHiring and developing engineers as the team scalesHands-on guidance across backend, mobile, integrations, and dataCollaboration with leadership on product direction and prioritiesTechnical standards, code quality, security, and reliabilityThis is currently a small team, hitting massive attention and growth so you must be someone who is embraces change and is adaptableIdeal industry experience background would be consumer marketplaces, social platform, ecommerce, affiliate tech, creator.In return you will be joining at a very exciting stage that will enable you to have company wide impact and say. You will be a key member of the global leadership team from early on and as so will of course be offered equity alongside package.I am looking for someone used to extensive freedom and the ability to make company impacting decisions. The Exec team tend to be hybrid based and for this role you would be expected to come into the London office ideally twice a week especially whilst you ramp the team upPackage wise we have flexibility - we appreciate some people may prefer a higher base / lower equity whilst others may prefer the reverse given the companies success and stage. To give some idea base wise 150k - 300k depending on equity request, plus bonus etc
