Role Description This is a full-time remote position for a Chuukese Interpreter specializing in Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating communication in Chuukese and English, ensuring precise and culturally sensitive interpretation across various industries. The role requires maintaining confidentiality and providing a high level of service to clients while adhering to professional standards and ethical guidelines. Qualifications Fluency in Chuukese and English, with strong listening and speaking skills.Proficiency in interpreting complex terminology across industries, such as healthcare, legal, or customer service contexts.Familiarity with VRI and OPI technology and best practices in remote interpretation.Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to effectively bridge cultural and linguistic differences.Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining professionalism and adhering to confidentiality standards.Availability to work flexible hours, including potential weekends and holidays, as needed.Experience in interpretation services and/or professional certification in interpretation or translation is a plus.
