Job Description

Cyber Lab LLC is hiring a Cybersecurity Technician to support cybersecurity deliverables on Military Construction (MILCON) projects with Facility-Related Control Systems (FRCS). You will work closely with a Cybersecurity Specialist and report to the Cybersecurity SME/Manager, helping ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements across building and utility control systems (OT).Ideal for early-career IT/network professionals seeking hands-on OT experience.🎯 ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and coordination of cybersecurity documentation, including:Control System Inventory ReportsCybersecurity Network (Riser) and Data Flow DiagramsPorts, Protocols, and Services (PPS) listingsPassword and Audit ReportsVulnerability Scan Results and Resolution LogsAssist with device hardening in accordance with STIGs/SRGs and RMF guidelinesPerform basic workstation configuration: Windows updates, antivirus setup, encryption, password complianceHelp collect, organize, and verify scan data (e.g., SCAP, ACAS, Event Viewer logs)Provide technical support during Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT)Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and cybersecurity leads for timely submittalsSupport physical and logical network inventory tasks for FRCS equipment✅ QualificationsRequired:Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field1–3 years experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity-related rolesFamiliarity with control systems, operational technology (OT), or building automation systems is a plusWorking knowledge of:Windows 10/11 Pro setup and securityBasic TCP/IP networking conceptsAntivirus, patching, and account managementStrong organizational and communication skillsCertifications (Minimum 1 required):CompTIA Security+ CECompTIA CySA+CompTIA CASP+Cisco CCNA Security (or equivalent)Other IAT Level II certifications accepted under DoD 8570🔧 Preferred SkillsExperience preparing or reviewing cybersecurity documentation for federal contractsFamiliarity with DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs/SRGs, or RMF stepsAbility to interpret redlines and comments from NAVFAC or DoD reviewersFamiliarity with tools such as STIG Viewer, Nessus, and eMASS (optional)🚀 Why Join Us?At Cyber Lab LLC, you’ll work on real-world infrastructure projects that protect national defense assets.
