Cloud Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our IT team and support the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP. You will work under supervision to monitor cloud services, manage containers, configure web applications, and assist with production support. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates eager to grow their cloud expertise in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.Monitor cloud service performance for stability and basic security compliance.Configure and manage DNS records; resolve basic domain resolution issues.Troubleshoot web application issues related to access, redirects, firewall, WAF, load balancing, and connectivity.Assist in configuring and maintaining Content Delivery Network (CDN) solutions.Deploy, install, and renew HTTPS/TLS certificates.Configure Nginx server proxy and HTTP services for stability and reliability.Manage containerized services using Docker and handle version control with Git.Provide support for online production issues as directed.Experience & Skills:Minimum 3 years experience in cloud technologies (including internships or academic projects).Familiarity with AWS or GCP services (EC2, S3, GCP VM, Cloud Storage).Basic understanding of CDN solutions (AWS CloudFront, GCP Cloud CDN).Knowledge of Nginx, DNS configurations, SSL certificate management.Version control experience with Git or similar tools.Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python).Kubernetes cluster management experience is a plus.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Personal Attributes:Eager to learn and grow in cloud technologies.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Languages:English: Mandatory (written & verbal)Additional languages such as Hindi or Chinese are a plus
