We are seeking a dedicated Co-Founder to build and own the entire commercial engine as we launch our critical pilot phase in Johannesburg.About the founder Gabriel Cassim:Gabriel Cassim is a full stack web developer from Johannesburg South Africa with experience in Cloud, AI, Cyber Security and other high impact digital technologies. His passion for web technology started in high school when he was first exposed to coding. After high school he took the self-taught route and was immediately introduced to the industry the first year after school via an internship at EOH digital. Over time having gained experience in corporate his passion grew and clearly developed into a vision where the use of technology combined with pressing problems makes a great business opportunity. It wasn’t until recently that the link between great businesses and nation building became clear through understanding The Prosperity Paradox, the startups and ideas he chooses to work on now have greater roots in nation building through the use of high impact technologies. The Opportunity: Own the Commercial/Operational SuccessWe are looking for a Co-Founder to be the definitive Chief Operating Officer (COO). This is a foundational partnership defined by three non-negotiable pillars:Venture Leadership & Ownership: You will be a true partner, sharing the risk and the ultimate reward. You will be instrumental in setting the company's direction, culture, and long-term vision alongside the existing team.Commercialization & Growth: You will own the entire revenue generation and operations strategy. Your mandate is to take the product from pilot to scalable business, focusing on building a repeatable, efficient, and tech-enabled sales engine.Full-Time Commitment: We require 100% dedication to the venture. This is a ground-up build requiring relentless energy, strategic focus, and autonomy.3. Key Responsibilities: The COO MandateYour mandate is to lead all aspects of commercial success, balancing strategic leadership with intense, hands-on execution.Pillar 1: Venture Leadership & StrategyStrategic Planning: Co-create the overall business plan, funding strategy, and long-term market expansion roadmap.Build the Commercial Framework: Design and implement the entire Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, pricing models, partnership agreements, and the sales playbook from scratch.Investor Relations: Participate in future fundraising efforts, presenting the commercial traction and growth narrative to potential investors.Culture: Instill a high-performance, ownership-driven, and "out-of-the-box" commercial culture.Business Development: Build relationships with customers (white label or inbound), manage orders and communicate feedback with the dev team.Pillar 2: Commercialization & ExecutionPioneering Sales: Be the venture's first and best salesperson, driving full-cycle sales (prospecting, demonstration, negotiation, closing) to secure initial lighthouse customers in the Johannesburg pilot region.Tech-Driven Growth: Leverage automation tools (like n8n) and APIs to invent scalable, non-traditional methods for lead generation, qualification, and pipeline management.Market Intelligence: Establish a robust feedback loop, acting as the definitive voice of the customer to ensure the product development is market-aligned.Partnership Development: Identify and secure key white-label and media partnerships critical for rapid scale.4. Co-Founder ProfileProven B2B Commercial Success: A deep, verifiable track record in B2B sales or commercial leadership, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment.Industry Authority: Strong experience in, or significant knowledge of, the AdTech, Media, or Marketing Technology industries.Technical Sales Acumen: Demonstrable ability to integrate technology (APIs, automation tools like n8n) into the sales process to achieve efficiencies and find non-obvious leads. Venture Mindset: Must be an out-of-the-box thinker, highly energetic, and comfortable with the ambiguity, risk, and massive upside potential of a startup.Commitment: Must be prepared for a full-time commitment to the venture.Logistics: Based in Johannesburg with a valid driver's license and reliable personal transport.5. Highly Desired Experience (Accelerants)White-Label SaaS Experience: Direct experience selling white-label or platform solutions to other businesses.OOH/DOOH Experience: Prior exposure to the Out-of-Home or Digital-Out-of-Home advertising landscape is a major advantage.6.
