Commercial Manager – Middle EastLocation: Dubai, UAEReports to: CEO – Middle EastRole ObjectiveThe Commercial Manager will lead commercial operations in the Middle East, driving business growth, strengthening brand presence, and expanding market reach. The role focuses on identifying and developing sales channels, managing strategic partnerships, and pursuing power generation project opportunities across the region.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute commercial strategy for the Middle East region.Identify and secure new business opportunities in both public and private sectors.Establish and manage distribution networks, including resellers, representatives, and distributors.Build and maintain relationships with key accounts such as EPCs, B2B clients, rental companies, and integrators.Promote brand and technical solutions to consultants, specifiers, and designers.Conduct technical and commercial visits to present solutions and support client engagement.Lead market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform strategic decision-making.Ensure alignment between the local commercial strategy and headquarters in Portugal.Manage and report sales pipeline, forecasts, and key commercial indicators to management.Support proposal development, negotiations, and after-sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.Desired ProfileMinimum 5 years of experience in the generator or energy sector.Strong technical-commercial understanding of power generation products and applications.Established network of contacts among distributors, installers, designers, and corporate buyers.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong results orientation.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Availability for travel within the Middle East region.Academic BackgroundBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Additional training in commercial management, technical sales, or project management is a plus.
