Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing robust policies that reflect current regulations, reviewing client onboarding processes for alignment with company standards, overseeing due diligence documentation, and collaborating with colleagues from various departments. You will also participate in industry working groups, contribute to risk identification efforts alongside senior leadership, and ensure that all entities-both domestic and international-meet their legal obligations. Success in this role requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a genuine interest in building strong relationships within a collaborative team environment.Develop, implement, and maintain up-to-date internal compliance policies and procedures that align with regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance requirements.Review client onboarding processes and prospective transaction structures to ensure full adherence to internal company policies.Confirm quarterly compliance by various entities with their obligations under servicing agreements, providing accurate reports as required.Oversee the review, collation, and maintenance of client due diligence documentation including KYC/AML checks, sanctions screening, and GDPR requirements.Ensure general compliance with Irish legal requirements for all entities involved in aircraft leasing activities within the portfolio.Collaborate closely with the General Counsel to identify key compliance risks facing the business and deliver relevant training sessions and briefings to management and staff.Participate actively in industry working groups related to aircraft leasing compliance on behalf of the platform, sharing insights and best practices.Liaise effectively with internal teams, external advisors, and auditors to achieve shared compliance objectives across multiple jurisdictions.Work alongside the Contracts Management team to ensure all compliance-related materials are accurately recorded in the lease management system while managing original documentation and conditions precedent.Monitor compliance by US-based and other non-Irish entities with their filing, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements as well as local HR legal/regulatory standards.What you bring:A minimum of two years' experience in a compliance role or within financial services, contracts administration or corporate administration; experience related to aviation is highly desirable.Bachelor's degree in law or another suitable discipline provides a solid foundation for understanding complex regulatory frameworks.General knowledge of aviation industry practices combined with an interest in financial services enhances your ability to navigate sector-specific challenges.Excellent written and oral communication skills enable you to build positive relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.Strong attention to detail ensures accuracy when reviewing documentation or implementing policies across multiple entities.Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently while managing a diverse workload within an international business context demonstrates your dependability.Self-motivation coupled with initiative allows you to work independently while remaining responsive to team needs.Proven organisational skills support your capacity for multitasking without compromising quality or deadlines.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
