Role: Continuous Improvement Manager Location: Chesterfield Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus, Additional Benefits We're supporting a major UK logistics operation on a confidential search for a Continuous Improvement Manager - someone who can blend practical operational understanding with structured CI thinking to unlock real-world results. The Opportunity You'll work closely with site leadership to identify and deliver improvements across cost, quality, service, engagement, and safety. You'll lead medium to large projects, influence cultural change, and ensure that improvements are measurable, sustainable, and commercially recognised. This role also carries customer exposure, so commercial awareness and confidence with senior stakeholders is essential. Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitating diagnostics, problem-solving sessions and mapping workshops to uncover opportunities.Leading structured CI projects with clear governance, risk management and benefit tracking.Coaching teams in CI tools, project management and change management.Working with finance and operational leaders to ensure savings are validated and delivered.Embedding sustainment tools such as visual management and workplace audits.Supporting data gathering and solution design across warehouse operations.Bringing best practice, energy and momentum to a busy, forward-thinking site. Key ExperienceAround 5 years' experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager within a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment.Lean/Six Sigma capability (Green Belt minimum).A track record delivering both major projects and smaller continuous improvements.Strong operational understanding - warehouse essential, automation experience desirable.Confident working with data, analytical and structured in your approach.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Resilient, collaborative, commercially minded and able to set pace.Ideally exposure to FMCG and 3PL environments.
