Now united under the Solina banner, these brands share the same passion for taste, quality, and innovation.Joining Solina Canada means being part of a growing, human-sized company where collaboration, creativity, and the joy of doing things well are at the heart of our culture.We value diversity, encourage initiative, and provide an environment where everyone can contribute meaningfully to shaping the future of food in Canada.Together, let’s make a difference with taste.The RoleReporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the Continuous Improvement Specialist plays a key role in driving operational excellence and promoting a continuous improvement culture at the Toronto facility.You will lead projects that enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency while supporting and training teams to adopt sustainable improvement practices across departments.Your analytical mindset, leadership, and ability to engage teams will be essential to achieving operational success and supporting the plant’s growth objectives.Main ResponsibilitiesIdentify, plan, and execute annual continuous improvement projects across various departments.Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies daily to achieve measurable results.Train, coach, and develop operational teams in continuous improvement tools (e.g. 5S, problem solving).Generate cost-reduction opportunities and implement process improvements to lower manufacturing costs.Lead all stages of assigned projects and ensure employees are trained and accountable for sustaining implemented changes.Analyze equipment downtime and efficiency losses; recommend and implement corrective actions.Review material yield losses and suggest technological or control improvements to reduce waste.Develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall plant performance.Your ProfileMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Proven track record in complex problem solving, operations-related project management, and change management.Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.Familiarity with GMP and Canadian regulatory standards.Proficiency with ERP and WMS systems, and advanced Excel skills.Excellent communication abilities, both oral and written, with the capacity to influence at all organizational levels.Strong organizational and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Team-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to collaboration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).What We OfferA permanent, full-time position within a fast-growing international group.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.A collaborative and inclusive work environment where your ideas make a difference.Comprehensive group insurance plan (medical, dental, life, disability).Retirement savings plan (RRSP) with employer contribution.Free parking and coffeeA strong, passionate team proud to contribute to feeding the world with high-quality products.Diversity and InclusionAt Solina, we believe that the richness of our differences makes us stronger.We are committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and equitable environment where everyone can thrive, contribute fully, and make a real impact on our collective success.
