Today, GCC remains a strong and competitive presence across the Middle East.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Contracts Engineer to manage and administer construction contracts in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of Contract (Red & Yellow Book), ensuring effective control of claims, variations, cost, time, and contractual risks while safeguarding the company’s contractual and commercial interests throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesYour tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:Administer construction contracts in accordance with FIDIC and project-specific amendments, advising the Project Team on contractual rights, obligations, and risks. Manage variations, claims, and change events, including EOT and cost claims, ensuring timely issuance of contractual notices and proper documentation. Review and certify variations, verify BOQ quantities and rates, monitor project costs, and support financial forecasting. Monitor baseline and updated programmes (Primavera P6), assess delays, and conduct delay analysis (e.g., TIA). Draft and manage contractual correspondence (notices, instructions, warnings, determinations) in compliance with contractual requirements. Liaise with Abu Dhabi authorities regarding contractual matters, NOCs, and scope changes, assessing related impacts. Identify contractual risks, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support audits and documentation control.Support dispute resolution processes (DAAB, settlement, arbitration) and assist in project close-out, including TOC, PAC, and final accounts.Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.• Experience: Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the infrastructure and bridges works.Skills & Competencies: Strong FIDIC (1999 & 2017) knowledge. Infrastructure project experience. UAE authority standards familiarity. Strong drafting & negotiation skills. Primavera P6 & MS Excel proficiency.Work Location: Abu Dhabi (Head Office)Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and cover letter.
