OverviewAs Corporate Communications Executive you will help to craft employee communications within our UK and Ireland business, as well as amplifying news and stories to external audiences through our owned digital channels.The UK and Ireland business is a key market for PepsiCo, with an exciting portfolio of brands including Walkers, Doritos, Quaker and Pepsi MAX. The role is based at our brand-new modern office in the heart of Reading.This is a great opportunity to join an integrated Corporate Affairs team at a pivotal moment in the company’s history, as we look to the future with renewed purpose and bold aspirations.ResponsibilitiesThe Corporate Communications Executive is responsible for day-to-day planning and delivery of communications to our employees which build understanding of our strategy, belief in our mission and connection to our business and brands. You will be responsible for:Managing our employee communication channels (e.g. newsletter, intranet, announcements, monthly cascade process, digital signage). You’ll work with leaders and individuals around the business to plan activity, shape clear messaging and write and edit content. Creating plans and schedules to coordinate day-to-day communications activity as well as projects and campaigns, applying a high level of planning, analytical and organisational skills. Supporting the team to execute communication campaigns around corporate announcements, working with creative agencies and helping to bring initiatives to life on the ground.Telling the story of the people behind our business and brands, evidencing a newshound mentality and an instinctive understanding of what makes a good story.Keeping our website pepsico.co.uk up to date with latest news and imagery, working with subject matter experts around the business to refresh content.Assisting with project management and content development for company events, e.g. conferences and town halls, as well as for film and photo shoots. Supporting our ‘always on’ digital communications programme, sourcing news, stories, information, facts and imagery for our LinkedIn and X channels.Coordinating our employee communications community, working with our sites to enhance company-wide communications, driving consistency in our written and visual style. Using data and insights to deliver evaluation reports and recommendations to enhance communication effectiveness. QualificationsEssentialMinimum 1-2 years in a corporate communications role or related field (e.g. marketing) gained in a large fast-paced environment, either in-house or agency.Meticulously organised and an effective multi-tasker and planner.A flair for writing, with immaculate attention to detail and a passion for communications and storytelling.A good eye for design and a nifty ability to create impactful visuals for communications, working with basic design platforms (e.g. Canva) and office tools (e.g. PowerPoint).Ability to work, network, influence and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.Technically savvy with the ability to use communication platforms and software (e.g. Contact Monkey email send software, web content management systems).A keen interest in the news agenda and the food and drink industry.Energy, commitment and a sense of humour and perspective when working under pressure. DesirableDeveloping communication toolkits and editorial policies, including company style guides.Briefing and managing suppliers, including creative agencies.Video editing abilities.Budget management.Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
