Job Description

We are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to review and evaluate the performance of merchants with active cash advances by assessing their risk profile (public records, seasonal and industry trends, and credit history) banking activity, and payment history to help ensure that the pricing and terms remain aligned with the risk and profitability of the portfolio, following a customer experience centered approach.Working hours 2:30pm-10:30pm or 4:00pm -12:00amJob Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor the performance of the funded merchants, analyzing their payment history, cash flow, and any changes in financial health.Evaluate shifts in risk factors that may affect the merchant's ability to repay and could warrant limit or term adjustments, including industry trends, economic changes, or seasonality in revenue.Ensure any relevant, real-time notes are properly noted in Salesforce to document observations, thoughts, and key details that may influence the decision.Based on the updated risk levels, prepare initial calculations for potential repricing adjustments, such as business revenue and new or ongoing obligations to competitors, to support repricing recommendations and risk management strategies.Apply a customer-centered approach by understanding each merchant’s unique risk profile and behavior.Communicate credit risk findings effectively, helping other teams understand risk factors and mitigation options.Ensure all credit risk assessments comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.May be required to perform other tasks and duties reasonably related to job responsibilities.Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to recognize positive and negative trends in cash flow and banking activity.Previous credit analysis or underwriting experience is a plus.Prior experience in Bank Reconciliation.Familiarity with US business culture.Strong analytical skills;Ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented and excellent skills in calculating riskStrong communication skillsDecision-making and critical thinking skillsC1 Proficiency in written and spoken English.
