In the Great Australian Bight, out of Adelaide and Port Lincoln (SA), Raptis operate 3 modern 27 metre steel trawlers, with comprehensive refrigeration and electrical systems and powered by Caterpillar or GE marine engines.The fishing crew comprises Skipper, Engineer, Mate, Cook and Deckhands. These vessels are supported with on shore administration and Engineering Services.Multiple opportunities are regularly available. Fishing in this area is year round.For Marine Engineers the requirement is to have either Marine Engine Driver – MED 1 or MED 2 qualifications with refrigeration endorsement, First Aid, and commercial fishing or sea experience.For Deckhand And Cook Positions, At Sea Experience Preferred.The GAB Fishery supply the busy markets in Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne, and the crew receive a value of the catch.
