We are seeking talented individuals who are passionate about joining our dynamic team and shaping the future of global trade.Job PurposeTo be part of our dynamic and passionate world, we are seeking experienced Customer Care Agents for our Export department. We are seeking someone with a proven track record of working in the freight and logistics industry (or similar type industries). This role will see you coordinating end-to-end processes relating to export, dealing with international agents for bookings, directly liaising with clients and compiling documentation. You will have exceptional communication skills, have a high focus on customer service and work well in a team environment.Primary Job Responsibilities A Customer Service Export employee manages all export bookings for a specific trade and/or a specific range of customers Providing correct booking confirmations to customers. Monitoring bookings and amend them whenever required (de/increase equipment, amend equipment types, rolling bookings to next/other vessels, amendments of reefer settings etc.) keeping all relevant internal- and external parties informed. Keeping customers well informed of any issues with bookings. Properly monitoring all additional costs against individual bookings and making sure they are recovered. Investigating / correcting export dispute invoices. Corresponding with world-wide offices to track shipments. Checking availability of equipment, transport options and vessel space prior to accepting new bookings. Entering bookings in the operational system in line with procedures, arranging pre-carriage with transport departments, and internally coordinating IMO / OOG requests / acceptance, stuffing of containers. Entering bills of lading in the operational system and preparing invoices. Solving queries, reporting to responsible persons.Required Skills And CompetenciesThe ideal candidate should have: Bachelor’s degree An excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written. Experience in a liner shipping or freight forwarding company. Experience in export customs procedures in liner shipping is a plus. Being customer and service oriented, having attention to details Good team player Open for changes and improvement
