It requires deep industry insight, functional expertise and technology know-how that underpins an organisation’s strategic goals.Your OpportunityAs a D365FO Finance Consultant you will work closely with business stakeholders to implement, configure, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations for financial processes. This mid-level role involves gathering requirements, designing solutions, and supporting deployments to ensure alignment with business objectives. The consultant will act as a subject matter expert for Finance modules while collaborating with technical teams and end-users. Key responsibilities includeConfigure and customise D365FO Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management).Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.Participate in end-to-end implementation projects, including Fit-Gap analysis, testing, and go-live support.Assist with data migration, validation, and integration activities.Collaborate with finance teams to understand processes and recommend best practices.Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot functional issues.Identify opportunities for process optimisation and system enhancements. To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience will includeHands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, focusing on Finance modules.Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.Experience in configuration, testing, and documentation of Finance functionalities.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.Proactive approach to learning and staying updated on D365FO Finance capabilities.Excellent communication, issue management and problem-solving skills. QualificationsRelevant University degree or an industry recognised qualification.Microsoft Certified Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant.Exposure to related modules such as Project Management & Accounting or Supply Chain.Knowledge of Power BI for financial reporting and analytics.Knowledge of X++, D365 Finance Copilot Agents and basic technical debugging is a plus.
