Energy Strategy & Transactions Specialist

Overview:We are seeking high-performing Energy Strategy & Transactions professionals for our client to join a fast-growing advisory team working across major energy and infrastructure deals. This role suits individuals with strong analytical capability and a background in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or tier-one strategy consulting.Responsibilities:Support or lead commercial transactions, capital raises and financial evaluationsDevelop or review financial models, valuations and quantitative analysisManage workstreams on major energy and infrastructure projectsPrepare investment papers, commercial insights and strategic recommendationsConduct commercial due diligence and assess risks, opportunities and deal structuresWork closely with senior leaders and clients on high-impact strategic engagementsPresent findings clearly and confidently to internal and external stakeholdersMentor consultants and assist with larger transactions. Required Experience: Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, infrastructure funds or tier-one strategy consultingStrong financial modelling skills and commercial acumenExposure to capital-intensive sectors such as energy, utilities, renewables or infrastructureAbility to run complex analytical workstreams with limited oversightExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to work in fast-paced, outcomes-focused environmentsQualifications:Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Commerce, Mathematics or related disciplinePostgraduate qualifications (CFA, MBA, PhD) are beneficial but not essential
