Data & AI engineer - Mid/Senior

InsiderCX is a fast-growing startup helping private healthcare providers improve patient experience and protect their reputation. We work with clinics and hospitals across Europe, turning patient feedback into actionable insights.We are currently building a new version of our platform, which is live in 6 European countries (UK, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, BiH, Slovenia) and planned to expand to 4 new countries in 2026. You will work on a platform that processes 500,000+ patients yearly and leverages proprietary AI models for extracting patient feedback (also sprinkling some LLMs on top!).What You’ll DoAnalyze patient survey datasets to uncover engagement patterns and actionable operational insightsRun A/B tests on message timing, formats, and channels to improve response rates Design and implement AI agents that automate patient experience workflowsBuild robust data pipelines for LLM-based data flows and processingCreate data analysis frameworks and automated reporting to deliver continuous value to clientsIntegrate AI capabilities into production systems, working closely with backend teamsMonitor model performance and iterate based on real-world resultsExperiment with AI techniques and translate research into practical applicationsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and pattern recognitionStrong understanding of data modelling concepts and the ability to design effective data models.Proficiency in data engineering tools and languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Apache Spark).Hands-on experience fine-tuning and deploying LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models)Solid understanding of NLP and prompt engineeringExperience with data analysis and statistical methods for extracting actionable insightsExperience building data pipelines and ETL workflows (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, or similar)Familiarity with MLOps practices (model versioning, monitoring, deployment)Comfortable working in an agile environmentCurious, reliable, and self-driven engineerProficiency in English, both written and verbalNice to HaveExperience with data visualization tools (Plotly, Matplotlib, Tableau) for client reportingExperience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration frameworksBackground in healthcare data or working with sensitive/regulated dataFamiliarity with cloud ML platforms (GCP Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML)Knowledge of SQL and relational databasesUnderstanding of API design for ML servicesExperience building and fine-tuning proprietary LLMs for specific use cases and optimizing their performanceExperience with Docker and containerized ML applicationsWhy Join InsiderCXWe are a young, ambitious team that nurtures a no red-tape, no bureaucracy mindset and a freedom to experiment.Some things that we build will work, some will not, and that’s okay - we are looking for someone who’s not afraid to fail a couple of times to win in the end and have fun along the way.
