We are looking to add a Data Analyst to our Individual Data Analytics team. The Data Analyst is a role reporting to the AVP, Data & Analytics. They will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of delivering insights gained from the extraction and analysis of data to improve business processes, supporting the strategy and goals of Equitable’s Individual business. The bulk of the work will be in data collection and integration, data exploration and preparation, management and problem analysis, and data visualization. This includes infrastructure for data presentation (dashboards, BI tooling, ongoing delivery of report, etc.), and the infrastructure for data hygiene. The newly hired data analyst will be a key interface for the Individual business unit. Candidates need to be very much self-driven, curious, and creative. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.What you will be doing:Working closely with the business and technical teams to identify the definition and analysis of how information assets drive business outcomes Applying detailed knowledge and hands-on experience of data structures, and data warehousing strategies to contribute to the development and maintenance of business intelligence and reporting tools.
