Data Engineer

Job Title: Data Engineer Location: Lahore (Onsite) Type: Full-Time Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AMAbout the Role: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our growing team in Lahore. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines, ensure data quality, and support business analytics by providing clean and structured datasets. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with diverse data systems and contribute to building scalable data-driven solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.Develop, optimize, and manage relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformation scripts for analytics and reporting.Collaborate with analysts and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and accessible data for insights.Integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses or cloud environments.Implement data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning for optimal efficiency.Support Power BI and other BI tools by ensuring accurate and structured data sources.Maintain data documentation, workflows, and schema definitions for smooth collaboration.Ensure data governance, integrity, and security across all systems.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management.Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of RDBMS performance optimization.Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Airflow) and data integration frameworks.Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation.Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
