This role is integral to maintaining accurate and up-to-date data within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Microsoft D365, supporting our production, inventory, and operational functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments including production, warehouse, purchasing, and finance. The Data Entry Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring data integrity, facilitating smooth operations, and supporting the company’s commitment to quality and efficiency.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience of 1-3 years in data entry, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment, is highly desirable. Experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics D365, SAP, or similar platforms is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication skills are essential. A basic understanding of production processes and inventory management principles will be advantageous. Candidates should also be problem-solvers who can escalate discrepancies effectively and work well within a team setting.ResponsibilitiesAccurately enter and update production orders, inventory transactions, and material movements within the ERP system to ensure data accuracy and integrity.Process bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and work order data to support manufacturing operations.Verify production data against source documents such as shop floor paperwork, inventory logs, and shipping/receiving records to maintain consistency.Assist in maintaining item master data, including part numbers, product specifications, and other critical data elements.Support cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.Monitor data quality and report discrepancies or issues to supervisors for prompt resolution.Generate routine reports related to production and inventory to aid management decision-making.Collaborate with production supervisors, warehouse staff, purchasing, and accounting teams to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.Maintain organized digital and physical records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.Adhere to all safety standards and production protocols to promote a safe and efficient work environment.Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.BenefitsSuperior Dairy offers competitive compensation packages complemented by comprehensive benefits designed to support our employees' health, well-being, and professional growth.
