As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing large-scale construction projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.Assist the Construction Director in developing and implementing strategic plans for construction projectsOversee multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsCollaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycleDevelop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliersAnalyze project risks and implement mitigation strategiesMonitor project progress, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management and clientsEnsure compliance with local and international construction regulations, safety standards, and quality control measuresOptimize resource allocation and utilization across projectsMentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementDrive innovation and implement best practices in construction methodologies and technologiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum 18 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projectsProficiency in project management and construction management software, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and AutoCADStrong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and forecastingExcellent risk assessment and problem-solving abilitiesAdvanced knowledge of construction industry regulations, standards, and best practicesExperience with international projects, particularly in the Middle East, is highly desirableProfessional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or LEED AP are preferredExceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis toolsStrong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed choices under pressureWillingness to travel within the region as requiredFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
