We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Cost Control - Residential to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will spearhead the financial oversight and cost management practices for our residential development projects.As the Senior Manager for Cost Control, you will be responsible for effectively tracking project costs, establishing and maintaining cost protocols, and ensuring that our residential projects are delivered within budget constraints. Your analytical skills and financial acumen will be crucial in identifying cost efficiencies and facilitating strategic planning.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive cost control strategies for residential projects within the Qiddiya portfolioWork closely with project teams to establish accurate budgets and track actual costs against those budgets throughout the project lifecycleAnalyze cost variances and prepare detailed reports for senior management, outlining financial performance and potential risksIdentify opportunities for cost savings through efficient resource management and process improvementsCollaborate with procurement and contracting teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and management of contractsEngage with stakeholders to communicate financial expectations and outcomes, fostering a culture of transparencyUtilize SAP and Prism systems for effective tracking and management of project costsEnsure adherence to company policies and industry standards in all cost control practicesMonitor market trends to inform budgeting and financial planning activitiesSupport training and development initiatives for team members on cost control practicesRequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferredMinimum of 9-12 years of experience in cost control or financial management, with a strong emphasis on residential projectsProfessional certifications such as MRICS or CCP are highly regardedIn-depth knowledge of cost management principles, tools, and methodologiesProven capability in financial analysis and reportingExcellent negotiation and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teamsStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasksProficient in cost management software, SAP, and advanced ExcelBenefitsOffering a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
