Design Engineer

The Design Engineer is a target-driven professional, who will take responsibility for the retail fixture engineering and drawings for some of the most loved brands in the world, in accordance with the high standards of modernspace.The Design Engineer will report to the Design Development Director Europe.Key responsibilities (in accordance with DDD EU):· Engineering of store fixtures.· Technical Drawings organization.· Value engineering.· Assembly lines optimization.· Participate in project analysis, engineering discussions and work on continuous updates to improve processes and prices.Key results:· Value engineering.· Technical Drawings organization.· Assembly lines optimization.Required skills, qualifications, and experience.· 3-7 years of working experience as a Design Engineer.· 2D and 3D CAD (Inventor is a plus).· Education level: HBO.· Precise and very well organized.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Able to prioritize and work proactively with efficient time management.· Resilient, open-minded and results orientated.· Excellent English language skills in speaking and writing.· Native Dutch speaker is preferred.· Experience in Retail is a plus.· EU driver license.We offer:· Performance and experience-based market compliant salary.· Company phone and laptop.· Opportunities to develop yourself.· A professional, yet informal workplace.modernspacemodernspace is an internationally operating company that focuses on innovative and efficient interior solutions for retail environments.
