Qiddiya Investment Company is in search of a Development Director specializing in Cultural Assets to lead the planning and execution of innovative museums that capture the essence of culture, heritage, and community connection. This pivotal role aims to establish Qiddiya as a cultural landmark, enriching the visitor experience while promoting local and international artistic expression.The successful candidate will spearhead the entire development lifecycle of cultural assets, ensuring integration with Qiddiya's broader vision as a world-class entertainment and cultural destination.ResponsibilitiesLead the strategic vision and development of museum projects focused on cultural assets, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya's long-term goalsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams including curators, designers, and architects to create engaging and educational exhibitsConduct in-depth research to identify cultural narratives and community interests that inform the development of the museumsManage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality cultural facilitiesEngage with local artists, cultural organizations, and community stakeholders to develop exhibitions and programs that resonate with diverse audiencesEnsure all developments comply with health, safety, and environmental regulationsPrepare comprehensive reports and presentations for the executive team to highlight project milestones, challenges, and opportunitiesPromote innovative approaches to exhibit design and visitor engagement that reflect current trends in museum practicesFoster relationships with sponsors and cultural institutions to secure funding and collaboration for museum initiativesStay updated on trends in museum development and cultural programming to continuously enhance project outcomesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Museum Studies, Cultural Management, Real Estate Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)10-12 years of experience in cultural asset development, with a strong background in museum project managementProven leadership skills with experience managing diverse project teamsExcellent communication and relationship-building skills for stakeholder engagementAdept at conducting market research and analysis to inform cultural programmingExperience in fundraising and grant writing for cultural projectsKnowledge of sustainable practices and compliance guidelines related to cultural asset development
