This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, working directly with client engineering teams to plan, automate, and execute repository migrations from GitHub Enterprise Server, GitLab, or Bitbucket to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.You will help design scalable migration strategies, create automation scripts, and ensure seamless transitions while maintaining security, accuracy, and minimal disruption to development workflows.This is a Full-Time temporary position for 5 weeks, with the possibility of extension beyond that periodKey Responsibilities:* Lead repository migrations from GitHub Enterprise Server, GitLab, or Bitbucket to GitHub Enterprise Cloud.* Partner with engineering and leadership teams to gather technical requirements and communicate progress.* Design and document migration frameworks, tooling, and automation processes.* Build and maintain custom scripts and API integrations to streamline migration workflows.* Develop and manage GitHub Actions to automate and validate migration processes.* Troubleshoot issues related to repository size, compatibility, permissions, or network connectivity.* Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute migration phases efficiently.Required Skills & Experience:* Proven experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud, GitHub Enterprise Server, GitLab, and/or Bitbucket.* Expertise in source control migration planning, including branch mapping, history retention, and permission handling.* Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or similar).* Familiarity with cloud environments and container technologies (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.* Experience with package management tools (npm, Maven, NuGet, etc.) is a plus.Job benefits:Be part of an AI-First CompanyCompensation according to experience/skills.Experience working with distributed or remote teams.Flexible schedule.Training and mentorship with ongoing learning and development courses.Learn and grow in an enjoyable environment.
