OverviewJob Description:We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Salesforce Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable Vlocity solutions that drive business transformation and deliver superior customer experiences.Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Vlocity (formerly Vlocity Industries) solutions across various industry verticals such as Communications, Insurance, Health, Energy, or Financial Services. Customize and extend Salesforce Vlocity OmniStudio components including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards to meet business requirements. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Develop Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components to extend Salesforce functionality as needed. Integrate Salesforce Vlocity with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools. Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment using Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and source control tools. Lead code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensure adherence to development standards and governance. Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance of Vlocity and Salesforce applications. Stay updated with the latest Salesforce and Vlocity product releases and recommend improvements or upgrades. Provide technical leadership in Agile/Scrum environments and participate in sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) solutions. Strong expertise in Salesforce Vlocity components like OmniStudio (OmniScript, DataRaptor, Integration Procedure, FlexCards). Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform technologies: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components. Proficient in Salesforce APIs, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce integration patterns. Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II and Salesforce Industries OmniStudio Developer are a plus.Preferred Skills: Experience in Telecom industry verticals supported by Vlocity.
