OverviewJob Description:We are seeking a talented Senior Developer with extensive experience in Salesforce Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) and a strong background in application support and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Vlocity solutions while ensuring system stability and performance through effective support practices.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and enhance Salesforce Vlocity applications using OmniStudio components, including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards to meet business requirements. Provide support and maintenance for existing Salesforce Vlocity applications, ensuring high availability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs promptly, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement fixes. Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for code quality, documentation, and testing. Assist in deployment activities, including change sets and Salesforce IDX Workbench, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient application delivery and updates. Train and mentor junior developers and provide knowledge transfer sessions on Vlocity best practices and application support. Stay updated with Salesforce and Vlocity product enhancements and industry trends to recommend improvements and optimizations.RequirementsRequired Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) solutions. Strong expertise in Vlocity OmniStudio components: OmniScripts, DataRaptor, Integration Procedures, FlexCards. Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components. Experience in application support and maintenance, including troubleshooting and resolving production issues. Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and integration patterns. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Salesforce IDX, Git, Copado. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II and Salesforce Industries OmniStudio Developer are a plus.Preferred Skills: Experience in Telecommunication industry verticals supported by Vlocity,. Ability to work in Agile environments and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
