IT Security & Network Analyst

Responsibilities:Responsible for formulating and updating network security management policies and procedures in time to meet the requirements of the Bank of China and SBP.Responsible for managing the network architecture of Bank of China Panama branch, make topology diagrams, design, update network details, configure assets parameters according to Bank of China development. Update all kinds of detailed information in time.Manage network security risks, formulate IT Rules, and take measures to reduce the current network security risks of Bank of China.Responsible for the daily maintenance of network equipment in the IT rooms.Responsible for production network, backup network and Internet VPN network circuit continuity, circuit upgrade, bandwidth upgrade, and solve network problems.Responsible for local network disaster preparedness and recovery, formulate network disaster preparedness plans, adopt technical means to implement technical plans, and organize disaster preparedness drills every year.Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and end-user devices (e.g., PCs, laptops).Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure minimal downtime.Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).Implement and maintain data backup, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.Update and patch operating systems, applications, and security software regularly.Conduct regular security audits, identify vulnerabilities, and implement countermeasures (e.g., antivirus, intrusion detection).Requierements: Bachelor degree or above, computer, software engineering, automation, other science and engineering related majors.Familiar with the configuration and management of various routers, firewalls, and switches, etc.Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN), independently judge and handle network faults, and have certain network attack and defense knowledge.Experience with server management (e.g., virtualization via VMware, Hyper-V; cloud platforms like AWS, Azure).Knowledge of backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Acronis) and disaster recovery methodologies.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues.
