DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) – Saudi National

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kubernetes Administrator / DevOps Engineer to join our team in KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes-based environments while ensuring high availability, performance, and security across containerized workloads. This role involves close collaboration with development, cloud, and DevOps teams to streamline deployments and build scalable cloud-native systems.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters across on-premise and cloud platforms.Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.Manage Helm charts, YAML manifests, deployments, services, ingress controllers, and namespaces.Optimize cluster performance, scalability, and reliability through proactive monitoring and tuning.Implement Kubernetes security best practices including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning.Troubleshoot pod, node, and cluster-level issues to ensure seamless operations.Maintain high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for Kubernetes clusters.Integrate Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.Collaborate with development teams to enhance container orchestration and application deployment strategies.Develop and maintain documentation including architecture diagrams, SOPs, configuration guides, and operational manuals.Stay updated with Kubernetes releases, cloud-native technologies, and DevOps best practices.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.3–5+ years of hands-on experience in container orchestration and Kubernetes administration.Strong expertise in:Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or on-prem)Docker and containerized applicationsHelm charts, YAML manifests, and Kubernetes configurationCluster networking, storage, and monitoringCI/CD integration for Kubernetes workloadsSolid experience with Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Python).Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
