By strategically building extraordinary international partnerships with national ministries in 50 countries, equipping local believers through Bible-centric discipleship programs to become champions for the Gospel, committed to reaching their own communities with the Living Word of God.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Marketing Content Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will provide digital expertise, execution and support of fundraising and brand awareness objectives.This position provides oversight and technical expertise for Bible League Canada’s websites including hosting, building, security, and maintenance. This role will also provide oversight and execution of paid advertising on a number of social media and digital platforms.The incumbent should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a wide variety of work, and interacting with others effectively and diplomatically.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:Website Maintenance:Overseeing web content and making changes as required/needed, especially in regard to landing pages for Marketing campaigns and name acquisition funnels.Overseeing network of websites to ensure best-practices and security standards are being met.Digital Promotion:Identifying target audiences and opportunities for online advertising initiatives.Working with internal and external teams to develop the necessary content for the execution of the digital marketing strategy.Executing the annual media plan as it pertains to online advertising, including monitoring and adjusting based on results.Tracking and managing digital advertising budgets to ensure spending aligns with approved Marketing budget.Email Marketing:Executing the annual email calendar to ensure proper tracking and audience segmentation.Overseeing email journeys to make changes as required/needed, especially in regard to audience management.Analysis:Analyzing online activities (traffic, donor engagement, security, web-trends etc.) and adjusting for increased engagement.In collaboration with Research and Analytics department and other internal and external stakeholders, providing analysis and insight on campaign performances.Strategic Planning:Supporting Marketing Content Manager, and the broader Team to conduct annual content review during strategic planning processes.Supporting the Marketing Team in any long-term planning initiatives or the development of any new programs.Chapel/Prayer TimeParticipate in regular staff chapel services and pray for and minister to colleagues, donors, visitors and people who contact Bible League Canada either in person, or by phone or other electronic communication. These ministry and prayer opportunities include but are not limited to weekly chapel and devotions, meetings, general inquiries, and conferences and events.*Additional responsibilities may be added in consultation with and at the discretion of your supervisor.Education:Education should include a College or University Diploma in at least one of general business administration, journalism, media/broadcast, web marketing or communications, or have relevant experience in a marketing or communications team/department.Experience:Minimum 1 to 3 years of professional experience as a social media and/or web content coordinator, or similarA proven track record in online community building and achieving online engagement resultsExperience and proven abilities in managing external partner relationshipsWorking knowledge of SEO, SEM, website and contact management systemExperience managing paid social adsExperience working with email marketing softwareExperience in a non-profit organization is preferredTechnical Skills:Solid knowledge and understanding of various social media platforms and toolsUnderstanding and interpretation of online analytic systems (Google Analytics, etc.)Working knowledge of basic web languages such as HTML and CSSExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExceptional attention to detailSound project management, organizational and time management skillsIntermediate/Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Interpersonal Skills and Personal Attributes:Strong interest in using digital platforms for advancing Bible League Canada’s missionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; experience interacting with people from diverse cultures and backgroundsFlexible and adaptable to changing conditions, shifting prioritiesAble to multi-task, prioritize and work well in a busy environmentAble to handle confidential informationA self-starter with the ability to work independently as neededRequired Commitment:Follower of Jesus Christ who wholeheartedly subscribes to Bible League Canada’s faith and lifestyle policy documentsKnowledge of and a passion for Bible League Canada and its workIn fulfilling your responsibilities, you will be required to participate in regular staff chapel services and pray for and minister to colleagues, donors, visitors and people who contact Bible League Canada either in person, or by phone or other electronic communication.
