Position SummaryThe Digital Media Coordinator plays a key role in bringing CIS’s story to life across our online platforms and social media channels. This position supports the school’s communication and marketing efforts through publishing compelling content, engaging with our community, contributing to content creation, updating the CIS website, and executing digital campaigns. In this role, you will collaborate with the Communication & Marketing Team, internal stakeholders across CIS campuses, and external partners to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the CIS brand, values, and business objectives.Working in a dynamic, diverse environment alongside a dedicated team of professionals, you will help deliver marketing and communications initiatives that connect with prospective and existing families and students through the school website, social media channels, and relevant digital platforms. ResponsibilitiesSocial MediaSocial Media Publishing: Publish approved content across CIS social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, following the social media plan.Community Engagement: Interact with our social media community by liking and responding to audience comments, engaging with content from partner organizations, and responding to messages.Analytics and Reporting: Assist in tracking social media performance and provide regular reports with recommendations to improve performance.Social Media Advertising: Execute and monitor paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, budget tracking, and performance reporting in line with the digital promotion strategy.Staying current: Follow social media trends and platform updates to recommend improvements and optimize engagement.Content CreationCreative Development: Collaborate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for campaigns and content to help shape engaging, impactful digital initiatives.Coordination: Support media production activities by coordinating with photographers, videographers, and stakeholders, including scheduling talent and reserving venues, to ensure smooth content creation processes.Multimedia Consent: Verify media consent for all individuals appearing in content, including students, parents, and staff, to ensure compliance with CIS’s privacy and consent policies.Content Creation: Support on social media design with guidance from the Associate Director of Creative Services.WebsiteUpdate Website: Ensure the CIS website content and media are up to date.Google Ads: Set up and monitor paid Google Ads campaigns in line with the digital promotion strategy and budget.Additional ResponsibilitiesAdditional duties may be assigned by the line manager or Head of School to support the school’s marketing needs.Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.2–3 years of experience in social media, digital content, or communications roles.Proficiency with social media platforms and content management tools.Experience with graphic design programs (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop, Canva, etc.) and video (filming, editing, etc.) is a plus.Knowledge, Competencies & Attributes Knowledge of social media trends, analytics, and best practices.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer.Creative mindset and the ability to produce engaging digital content.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with Google Workspace (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.) is a plus.
